The current game
Imposter Game is a local, in-person football bluffing game for groups sharing one iPhone or iPad. The app includes the Starter XI footballer pack, private role handoffs, discussion, voting and replay. It does not offer accounts, online matchmaking or a messaging service.
Play respectfully
Use names and clues that your group is comfortable with. Do not enter someone else's sensitive information. Check the named player before revealing a secret, and hide it before passing the device.
Purchases and availability
The current app includes the Starter XI footballer pack. It has no paid packs, in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Device and data limitations
Setup preferences are stored locally. Changing devices, deleting the app or resetting its setup may remove that setup; no developer-hosted recovery or cross-device sync is provided. See the privacy notice for the current implementation's data handling.
Independent football-themed entertainment
Footballer names are used as game prompts. This is an independent party game; no affiliation with or endorsement by footballers, clubs, leagues or governing bodies is claimed.
App Store license and consumer rights
