Imposter Game

Privacy & Support

For the one-phone football bluffing game on iPhone and iPad.

What the app does

Imposter Game lets an in-person group share one device, privately view roles and a footballer name, discuss clues and vote. The current build works without an account, server connection or online room.

Information saved on your device

The app saves your player names and setup preferences: selected pack, impostor count, hint and timer options, appearance and rules-onboarding status. You may leave names blank and use the generated Player labels.

This setup is kept in the app's local storage. Current-round secret assignments, the footballer answer and votes are held in memory rather than written to the saved-preferences file. The developer does not receive player names or gameplay from this build.

Advertising, analytics and permissions

The app contains no advertising, tracking, analytics, third-party crash-reporting SDK, account registration or backend sync. It does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo-library or notification access.

Apple's operating-system, App Store and user-enabled diagnostics services operate under Apple's own settings and policies; they are separate from data the app sends to its developer.

Storage, deletion and backups

Use Settings → Reset group and settings to remove the saved group names and replace the stored setup with the defaults. This resets the setup; it is not an account-deletion or secure-erasure service. Removing the app normally removes its app-local data, subject to Apple's platform behavior.

The app requests complete iOS file protection for saved preferences and requests that its preferences directory be excluded from backups. These are platform controls, not a guarantee about every device backup, export or recovery process.

Sharing and purchases

The current app includes the Starter XI footballer pack. It does not upload or share your setup with the developer, sell player data or connect players online. There are no paid packs, in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Shared-device privacy

Check the named player before revealing a role, and hide it before passing the device. The app covers private role content when interrupted or backgrounded. Anyone holding an unlocked device may still see the group setup or deliberately reveal the current role.

Children and player names

No date of birth or age profile is requested. Use nicknames or generated Player labels if you do not want to enter real names. Avoid entering sensitive information about yourself or other players.
